ATLANTA (Oct. 9, 2025) - The Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà Center welcomes the announcement of the first phase of a Gaza ceasefire and the expedited release of hostages and prisoners.
We urge all negotiating parties and the international community to commit to the implementation of a comprehensive ceasefire and processes that uphold the rights and dignity of the Israeli and Palestinian people. This includes providing for mutual security in accordance with international law, allowing the full delivery of humanitarian aid and fulfilling the right to self-determination.
We are encouraged by the prospect of lasting peace for Israelis and Palestinians and acknowledge that while this is a pivotal first step, it marks the beginning — not the end.
