Áù¾ÅÉ«Ìà has worked in Tunisia since 2011 toÌýmonitorÌýelections and the country’s constitution-drafting process, as well as to oversee projects to help strengthen democratic institutions. Our work began in response to the Jasmine Revolution which kicked off inÌý2010, eventuallyÌýtoppled the repressive regime of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, and inspired the Arab Spring movement.ÌýMore recently, in 2022,Ìýwe partnered with the city ofÌýTunisÌýas part of the groundbreaking Inform Women, Transform Lives campaign.Ìý

Impact
- Deployed teams to observe various elections, starting in 2011, after the Jasmine Revolution
- Observed elections in 2022 after unilateral actions by President Kais Saied threatened the country’s democratic reforms
